    Financial Review

Today, intabill™ announced a brand new and exciting addition to their already feature packed product lineup. Complementing the existing award winning intacard™ and intapay™ financial products is the brand new intafuck™, which builds on the same rock solid corporate values for which they are apparently known according to their website possibly, and provides your business with a 90% reduction in staff costs in as little as the time it takes for a morning tea break.

"We're very excited about the market potential of this new product..." enthused one of the last remaining intabill staff members earlier. Unfortunately, they were unable to finish the quote as they had been made redundant.

In other unrelated news, IB-global, the small international arm of the Brisbane success story is looking to double in size in the next six months. Or possibly offshore all their work to the US and fire almost everybody at 'headquarters'. It's not clear. Send your resume in today, and you too could be retrenched in as little as one month!

I understand now. In death, a member of Kewn's World has a name. His name was Lachlan Kuhn.

    Phalleract

Top three awesome things about this photo:

    1. Zaius.
    2. It's a lizard made from a penis, with a penis.
    3. Once you get over those two things, you notice Zaius is wearing bright pink socks.

There's actually a story behind this one; one of my colleagues (Davo) work-safed a penis drawn by Zaius by turning it into a platypus or lizard type thing, much to our amusement. Not content with that bit of amusement though. he sat there looking at it with a confused look on his face for about 15 seconds before exclaiming "I know what's missing!" and drawing a penis right back onto his sporn-like animal creation, itself composed primarily of penis.

Perhaps you had to be there. Your loss.

    Harbinger of gc.collect()

Fatty, you have two weeks to collect your Lego* after which it will become simultaneously a fond memory and approximately 0.005 cubic meters of landfill:

nb: observing the state of the lego will neither change this outcome nor turn you invisible.

    Simply Being Loved
I'm having a bit of a BT-a-thon whilst taking part in a little challenge I devised for myself, that being "creating a bootable OpenBSD CDROM with all required files on the media using only windows and freeware GUI utilities."

So far I'm down a coaster :) STAY TUNED*!

    >> my active directory file replication shares are busted
Did you think they might not be busted ?
    >> no... no, they're definitely busted.
Are you saying no just to be negative?
    >> i'm saying no because they really are busted. seriosuly.
Is it because you are saying no because they really are busted that you came to me ?
    >> THEY'RE FUCKED!
I'm not sure I understand you fully.

Excel 2007 - The Vista Of The Office World
Seems I'm not alone - other people are having problems with Excel 2007 taking more than 8 minutes to do something that's almost instant in Excel 2003.

Basically, Office2007 and Vista are both shit, slow, and don't add anything except a new UI. I love the new UI to bits (yes, I even love the god-damned ribbon that everyone for some reason seems to hate), but I can't put up with the incredible slowness and buggyness. It's not that I'm refusing on principle, it's just that it's not a usable product.

So I was glancing at my stats today to see how long I have left until I'm unshaped again, and I noticed something:

    Package Type: ADSL2+/18GB Medium
    Download used: 40977.801 MB

Clearly the shaping isn't working so well.

I was wondering how I'd managed the above accidentally, but after reading further down in the more detailed breakdown section of TPGs report, I can see it's clearly as a direct result of my AWESOME ability to fit nearly 30 hours of downloading in EACH AND EVERY DAY, as this example snapshot from the 29th of last month shows:

    10.20.20.158 18:25, 29 Apr 2007 00:05:18 2.669 0.00
    10.20.20.158 18:34, 29 Apr 2007 00:13:30 1.797 0.00
    10.20.20.158 18:49, 29 Apr 2007 04:57:08 87.045 0.00
    10.20.20.158 23:46, 29 Apr 2007 24:02:17 8861.976 0.00

The laws of physics don't apply to me.
